Love these metallic mosaics paving the lower level by the coat room. The patina is gorgeous. Suppose they’re bronze? (Sorry for fuzzy cel phone snap; might have had a glass or two of wine before I shot that…) People are a little fearful of metal tiles, I’ve found, and it’s true that–like having a stainless steel countertop–you need to embrace scratches and natural wear and tear. But a living material, once it’s “lived”, can be exceptionally beautiful and full of character.
